St. Elizabeth Healthcare is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician II for the Florence Sterile Processing department. The role ensures instruments are decontaminated, assembled, sterilized, stored, and distributed in compliance with safety standards.

40-hour full-time, 2nd shift in Florence, KY. The incumbent will handle decontamination, instrument prep, sterilization, endoscopy support, and inventory control while maintaining quality documentation and demonstrating empathy for patients and

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CRCST or CSPDT certification; Endoscopy certifications CBSPD or CER acceptable.
• Experience in Sterile Processing or Surgical Tech preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Decontaminate and assemble instruments; ensure proper cleaning and packaging.
• Maintain inventory control and accurate documentation of sterilization processes.
• Operate and troubleshoot sterilizers (steam, Pre-Vac, EO, Steris, Sterrad) and related systems.
• Support Endoscopy procedures and monitor instrument integrity.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain a clean, compliant work area.
