Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Collects, receives, cleans, disinfects, and decontaminates instruments, supplies and equipment per hospital policies.
• Operates washer-decontaminator, cart washer, and ultrasonic cleaner for decontamination.
• Loads, unloads, and sterilizes instruments and equipment per procedures and documents results.
• Stores sterilized items in predetermined locations and delivers supplies to units as needed.
• Maintains safety, infection control standards, and confidentiality of patient information.
