Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Collects, cleans, disinfects and decontaminates instruments and equipment per hospital policies.
• Operates washers and sterilizers and ensures proper load handling and documentation.
• Inspects instruments for cleanliness and working order and prepares packs for sterilization.
• Supports OR turnover by prioritizing workload and locating trays as needed.
• Documents sterilization results and reports any malfunctions to the supervisor.
