Responsibilities

• Transports and restocks surgical instrumentation and materials.
• Receives, sorts, cleans, and decontaminates soiled instruments and equipment.
• Operates and maintains washers, reprocessors, and sterilizers.
• Inspects, prepares, assembles, and sterilizes instruments per guidelines.
• Monitors sterilization cycles to ensure safety.
• Manages phone communications and supports department operations.
• Provides leadership in absence of senior staff, prioritizing work.
• Addresses customer requests and completes daily shift reports.
