Job summary

Sharp HealthCare is hiring a Sterile Processing Technician I to ensure proper maintenance and distribution of sterile supplies and medical equipment for patient care. The role requires a HS diploma, 2+ years of relevant experience, and CSPDT or CRCST certification.

You will collaborate with OR staff, document loads, and support service line instrumentation management. The position is full-time, on-site in California, with union involvement and a standard 8-hour shift from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM,

Qualifications

• Required: HS Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be CSPDT or CRCST certification.
• 2+ years experience in sterile processing or surgery setting.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and distribute disposable supplies and durable medical equipment.
• Communicate effectively with OR and SPD teams.
• Monitor and document sterilizer loads and biological tests.
• Assist with service line instrumentation management and case carts.
• Provide in-service education and maintain competency records.
