The Christ Hospital Health Network is seeking a Central Service technician to decontaminate, clean, and sterilize trays and instruments, ensure proper inventory control, and assist with case cart assembly for the surgical team. The role requires adherence to infection control practices and the ability to dispense equipment as needed.

Experience in Central Service and a high school diploma are required, with CRCST certification preferred and to be obtained within the first year of hire.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years Central Service experience.
• CRCST certification preferred; must be obtained within first year of hire.

Responsabilidades

• Decontaminate, clean, process and sterilize trays, instruments, supplies and equipment following infection control practices.
• Dispense equipment upon request.
• Maintain accurate records and monitor departmental inventory usage.
• Build case carts and respond to requests from surgery.
