Job summary

Johns Hopkins Medicine is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician for the Evening Shift (3 pm - 11:30 pm) at Johns Hopkins Health System, Lutherville, MD. The role includes inspecting, cleaning, assembling and sterilizing instrument sets, and preparing supplies for steam and low-temperature sterilization.

The position offers a $3,000 sign-on bonus and a comprehensive benefits package. A high school diploma and 2 years of processing experience with CSPDT or CRCST certification are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum two years instrument processing experience required at a proficient level in all areas to include sterilization and set assembly.
• Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician (CSPDT) from Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution (CBSPD) OR Certified Registered Central Sterile Technician (CRCST) from Healthcare Sterile Processing Association (HSPA).

Salary Range: Minimum 21.88/hour - 36.13/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
