Corewell Health seeks a dedicated CPD Technician to process and sterilize instrument sets for surgical procedures at Royal Oak Hospital. You will inspect, disassemble, clean, sterilize, assemble, and distribute instruments, ensuring quality and compliance with AAMI standards.

Role emphasizes teamwork, accuracy, and prioritization to align with surgical schedules. Evening shift, full-time, with sign-on bonus eligibility. On-site role at Royal Oak Hospital.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Successful completion of sterile processing program required.
• CSPDT certification within 1 year (CBSPD) is required or
• CRCST certification within 1 year is required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, disinfect, assemble, process and distribute instruments, equipment and supplies.
• Maintain instrument labeling and stock, ensuring traceability.
• Test equipment and confirm sterilization using insulation and leak tests.
• Assemble high-complexity trays including implants and ambulatory kits.
• Monitor sterilization equipment and initiate repairs as needed.
• Support team with professional communication and service.
• Prioritize processing based on surgical schedules and physician needs.
