Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Sterile Processing Tech for Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville, IL. This full-time PM-shift role includes rotating weekends and holidays with a 40-hour work week and benefits eligibility.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, basic computer skills, and the ability to communicate clearly. Prior central service experience is preferred but not required; certification can be obtained within 12 months.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent required.
• 1 year related experience preferred but not required.
• Must be able to communicate effectively and follow directions.

Responsibilities

• Decontamination of instruments and equipment.
• Assembly of instrument sets and packaging for sterilization.
• Documenting processing steps and maintaining accurate records.
• Operate and monitor sterilizers and related equipment.
• Maintain clean, organized work area.
• Assist with inventory management and distribution to departments.
