Job summary

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or Equivalent Experience as a sterile processing technician within the last 12 months; or graduate of an accredited Sterile Processing Technician program.
• CSPDT certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and distribute disposable supplies and durable medical equipment for patient care.
• Report malfunctions or questionable loads to Lead Technician or Supervisor.
• Provide shift reports and maintain communication logs with Nursing units.
• Coordinate with SPD lead for proper processing of complete/incomplete sets.
• Document sterilizer load contents and results of biological/vacuum testing.
• Label implantables for quick identification and quarantine when needed.
• Assist with loading/operating washers, sterilizers, and related equipment.
