Job summary

Shriners Children’s Hospital is seeking a Sterile Process Technician I for an on-site, part-time role in Pasadena, CA. The technician will decontaminate, clean, assemble and sterilize instruments, manage case carts and maintain the OR/CS supply room to support surgical teams.

Requirements include a HS Diploma or GED; CSPDT/CRCST certifications are preferred and 1+ year hospital experience is advantageous. Partner with OR staff to ensure compliant sterile processing and inventory control.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED equivalent.
• 1+ year hospital experience preferred.
• Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician (CSPDT) or Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Decontaminate, clean, assemble, requisition, store and sterilize supplies, instrument sets and trays.
• Maintain OR CS supply room and support other hospital departments with sterilization needs.
• Serve as liaison between OR and CS, providing supplies, instruments and case carts.
