Job summary

Shriners Children's in Pasadena, CA seeks a Sterile Processing Technician to decontaminate, clean, assemble, requisition, store, and sterilize supplies, instrument sets, and trays according to policy and aseptic technique, working closely with OR personnel to maintain case carts.

Basic knowledge of asepsis, infection control, and standard precautions is required; CSPDT or CRCST certifications are preferred, with 1+ year of hospital experience.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Decontaminates, cleans, assembles, requisitions, stores, and sterilizes supplies, instruments sets, and trays.
• Maintains the OR/CS supply room and supports other hospital departments with sterilization needs.
• Works closely with OR personnel to provide necessary supplies and case carts.
