Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED/ equivalent (required)
• Experience: One (1) year of previous experience in a healthcare setting in a clinical capacity (preferred)
• Experience: Previous experience in sterile processing (strongly preferred)
• Certification: Nationally recognized certification for Sterile Processing required within 12 months of hire date (required)

Responsibilities

• Ensure sterile instrumentation is delivered to the OR in a timely manner.
• Assemble case carts and supplies for procedures.
• Operate SPD equipment and perform decontamination, prep, and sterilization.
• Maintain stock and organize department for efficient throughput.
• Adhere to HIPAA and safety guidelines.
