Job summary

Corewell Health’s Troy Hospital is seeking a part-time evening Sterile Processing Technician to inspect, disinfect, assemble, and distribute patient-care instruments in accordance with AAMI standards. You will support OR teams by providing clean, ready-to-use instrumentation.

You will work in a team environment with a focus on zero defects, accurate labeling, and timely service. A HS diploma and completion of a sterile processing program are required, with CSPDT or CRCST certification encouraged

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Successful completion of sterile processing program required.
• CSPDT or CRCST certification within 1 year required or CRCST eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, disinfect, assemble, process and distribute instruments per established standards and AAMI.
• Store, label, rotate, and ensure instruments and supplies are correctly identified.
