Job summary

WellSpan Health in York is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician for a full-time position, with a schedule of Monday to Friday, 10:45 PM to 07:15 AM. Responsibilities include assembling instrument sets, operating sterilization equipment, and ensuring quality control.

The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma or GED, and preferably 1 year of experience in Sterile Processing operations. Comprehensive health benefits, a retirement savings plan, and paid time off are included.

Qualifications

• 1 year in Sterile Processing operations preferred.
• Certified Registered Central Service Technician within 1.5 years required.
• Basic Life Support upon hire preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assembles/processes instrument sets and equipment using aseptic techniques.
• Operates and maintains sterilization equipment and keeps records.
• Performs quality control to ensure sterilization equipment is functioning.
