Loma Linda University Health is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician 1 to reprocess and assemble specialized instruments and equipment used throughout the Medical Center. You will operate washers and sterilizers, document required information, maintain instrument records, and ensure correct inventory levels while supporting safe patient care and excellent customer service in a diverse team environment.

Familiarity with Central Service processes and the ability to follow policies and protocols

Qualifications

• Read, write legibly and speak professionally in English.
• Able to use computer, printer and software programs required for the position.
• Able to relate and communicate positively, effectively and professionally with others.

Responsabilités

• Reprocesses and assembles specialized instruments and equipment used throughout the Medical Center.
• Operates washers and sterilizers and maintains instrument records.
• Documents required information and maintains inventory numbers, restocking as needed.
• Adheres to policies, protocols and guidelines and cooperates with a diverse workforce.
