Job summary

Memorial Health is seeking a Sterile Processing Tech for full-time evening hours (M-F 2:30pm–11:00pm) with every 4th weekend rotation. The role involves packaging, decontamination, and handling of sterile products, plus orientation to case carts and decontamination processes.

Responsibilities include equipment upkeep, supply management, and contributing to safety and efficiency improvements within the sterile processing department.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Certification as Central Service Technician preferred within 18 months.
• Successful completion of orientation and competency requirements within four months.

Responsibilities

• Assists with packaging, decontamination, and handling of sterile medical products.
• Completes training in assembly, phones/case carts, and decontamination; passes department competency.
• Processes and reprocesses reusable products and prepares case carts after orientation.
• Participates in improving sterile processing performance and safety.
• Manages supplies, instrumentation, repairs, and equipment maintenance.
