Job summary

Providence Health & Services in Torrance, CA is seeking an Associate Sterile Processing Technician to support Central Service operations on evening and night shifts as availability allows. Sterilize equipment, process instruments, and manage inventory while handling requests for product and supplies.

Under supervision, you will receive and respond to calls for equipment and supplies, maintain accurate records, and contribute to a clean, safe perioperative environment within a large health system

Qualifications

• Within 1 year of hire: National Certified Registered Central Service Technician - Healthcare Sterile Processing Association, or
• Within 1 year of hire: National Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician - Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution
• Experience in general office practices and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Process and sterilize equipment and instrumentation.
• Receive and issue supplies and equipment and maintain inventory.
• Respond to calls for product, equipment and supplies.
