Job summary

Providence St Vincent Medical Center is seeking a Senior Sterile Processing Technician for a full-time night shift. The role ensures cleaning, inspection, maintenance, sterilization and distribution of sterile instrumentation, collaborating with surgical teams to prepare supplies for procedures.

Required: national sterile processing certifications and at least 3 years of recent sterile processing experience, plus basic PC skills.

Qualifications

• National Certified Registered Central Service Technician credential.
• National Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician credential.
• National Certified Instrument Specialist credential.
• 3 years of recent sterile processing experience.
• Experience using personal computer and basic software applications.

Responsibilities

• The Tech-Sterile Processing 2 is responsible for the effective cleaning, inspection, maintenance, proper sterilization and distribution of sterile instrumentation and equipment.
• Works collaboratively with other departments to ensure all supplies, instrumentation and equipment are available for surgical cases as well as other procedures requiring sterile supplies and/or instrumentation.
