Job summary

Enloe Health in Chico, CA is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician I to maintain reusable surgical instruments and patient care equipment. You will decontaminate, package, sterilize, and handle instruments, while ensuring accurate documentation of SPD processes.

Under supervision, you will support room turnovers, stock in Sterile Processing and the operating room, and participate in inventory management. One year of experience in sterile processing is desired; CPR is required.

Qualifications

• One year experience in sterile processing functions.
• Current CPR.

Responsibilities

• Care and maintenance of reusable surgical instruments and patient care equipment.
• Perform decontamination, packaging, sterilization, handling and storage activities.
• Assist with room turnover and inventory stocking in Sterile Processing and surgery areas.
