Enloe Medical Center, Inc. is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician I to ensure the cleanliness, decontamination, and proper packaging of reusable surgical instruments and equipment. You will work under perioperative supervision to support turnover, stocking, and documentation of SPD processes.

The role requires about one year of sterile processing experience, basic anatomy/physiology or medical terminology training, and CPR certification. Join a team-focused perioperative environment in Chico.

Qualifications

• One year of experience in sterile processing is preferred.
• Completed class in Basic Anatomy and Physiology and/or Medical Terminology.

Responsibilities

• Care and maintenance of reusable surgical instruments and equipment.
• Perform decontamination, packaging, sterilization, handling and storage.
• Assist with room turnover and stocking in Sterile Processing and surgery areas.
• Training new employees and helping with inventory.
