Qualifications

• Competent and physically able to perform all duties in CSS independently (Decontam, Assembly, Sterilization and Distribution).
• Must achieve national certification from CBSPD or IAHCSMM by the first anniversary date.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds repetitively.

Responsibilities

• Assembly of instrumentation for surgical procedures.
• Case cart preparation using correct pick sheets.
• Managing sterilization procedures with strict adherence to documentation.
• Performing decontamination processes to prevent organism transfer.

Skills
