Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must achieve national CBSPD or IAHCSMM certification by the first anniversary date.
• CBSPD or HSPA licensure by first anniversary date.
• Knowledge of OR surgical instrumentation and QA practices; strong documentation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assembly of Instrumentation per standard setup and demand.
• Case Cart Preparation with accurate pick sheets and timely delivery.
• Dispensing and Storage of instruments with precision and courtesy.
• Communicate/Manage information during daily CSS operations.
• Sterilization procedures performed timely with strict documentation.
• House Set Processing: assemble and package instruments per priority.
• Decontamination to prevent cross-contamination; follow safety protocols.
• Complete non-therapeutic tasks under MD/PA/RN direction, e.g., storing IV solutions.
