Job summary

UAB Medicine - Callahan Eye is hiring a Sterilization Technician to re-process sterile instrumentation, clean and assemble instrument sets, and organize case carts for surgery.

You will stock supplies, perform biological testing of sterilizers, and operate all sterilization equipment in a busy eye care environment. A High School diploma or GED is required, and you will join a recognized leader in eye care with PSLF eligibility.

• To provide services to any area that requires re-processing of sterile instrumentation.
• To clean, assemble and sterilize instrument sets for surgery.
• To assemble and organize case carts for surgery.
