Job summary

Rome Health is seeking a detail-oriented Sterile Processing & Distribution Technician to join our team in a full-time capacity. The role ensures decontamination, sterilization, preparation, and packaging of surgical instruments and equipment for safe patient care; on-call and rotating shifts are possible.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow protocols consistently.
• Reliable, flexible, and able to work overtime as needed
• Commitment to safety and patient care
• Certification by IAHCSMM or CBSPD

Responsibilities

• Decontaminate, sterilize, and prepare surgical instruments, devices, and equipment
• Inspect, assemble, and package instruments following established safety protocols
• Maintain accurate documentation of sterilization processes
• Ensure compliance with hospital and regulatory standards
• Participate in flexible scheduling, including on-call, rotating weekends, nights, and holidays
