Job summary

Qualifications

• Successfully passed a nationally accredited central service exam and holds one of the listed credentials.
• Evidence of employment or contract as a Central Service Technician may be required under grand-fathering rules.
• Provisional IAHCSMM certification must be completed within allowed timeframes.

Responsibilities

• Process and supply sterile goods and equipment to hospital areas including decontamination, packing, sterilization and distribution.
• Maintain clean, stocked work areas and report shortages for replenishment.
• Transport medications from crash cart to pharmacy as needed.
