Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1–3 years of sterile processing experience in an operating room is preferred.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification required upon hire.
• Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCS) preferred upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Handle and prepare sterile instrumentation for the operating room and procedural areas.
• Disassemble, clean, sterilize, and store trays, instruments, and supplies.
• Inspect case carts, instruments, and supplies and restock as needed.
• Deliver items to the operating room and assist in other SPD tasks.
