The Sterile Processing Technician I utilizes surgical instrumentation knowledge to provide the correct instrumentation for the operating room and other procedural areas. This position works to disassemble, clean, sterilize, and store procedure trays, instruments, and supplies. This position works primarily in the SPD area but may be competent to work in a surgical technician position.
