Job summary

Urology ASC-Phoenix - Downtown is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician to maintain and care for surgical instruments and prepare supplies for surgery cases at our downtown Phoenix location.

The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma or equivalent, 1–2 years of sterile processing experience, and knowledge of sterilizers, OR instrumentation, and medical terminology. Certification in sterile processing is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• 1–2 years of Sterile Processing experience.
• Completion of a Sterile Process Certification program is preferred.
• Experience with all types of sterilizers.
• Knowledge of operating room instrumentation and procedures.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and departmental supply items.
• Ability to quickly adapt to changing conditions of the patient when needed.
