Corewell Health's Royal Oak Hospital is seeking a CPD Technician to support sterile instrumentation for surgical services. You will oversee workflow, ensure instruments are in good working order, and mentor CPD students on shift, aligning with AAMI standards.

Requires a high school diploma, 2 years sterile processing experience, completion of a sterile processing program, and relevant certifications (CSPDT or CRCST on hire). Day shift, 40 hours weekly; benefits included.

Qualifications

• 2 years of sterile processing experience or related field.
• Successful completion of a sterile processing program is required.
• Knowledge of AAMI standards and surgical instrument handling is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee workflow of CPD technicians and CPD student duties on shift.
• Provide input on staff evaluations and assist with staff development.
• Ensure instruments and supplies are prepared and available for procedures.
