Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CSPDT or CRCST certification within 1.5 years is expected.
• Demonstrates good aseptic technique and infection control practices.

Responsibilities

• Decontaminates instruments safely and efficiently.
• Prepares trays of surgical instruments and packs.
• Operates steam and sterrad sterilizers per procedures.
• Gives shift report to the oncoming team.
• Completes written departmental shift reports.
• Attends inservice and educational programs as required.
