Job summary

Universal Health Services is seeking a Sterile Processing Tech to manage the reprocessing cycle for surgical instrumentation in a busy hospital setting. You will disassemble, decontaminate, disinfect, inspect, test, assemble, and sterilize instruments, while operating ultrasonic cleaners and sterilizers to maintain sterile supplies for procedures.

The role requires English proficiency and a CRCST certification, with opportunities for professional development within UHS’s network of facilities.

Qualifications

• English proficiency required (written and spoken).
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• CRCST certification required and maintained.

Responsibilities

• Manage reprocessing cycle for surgical instrumentation.
• Disassemble, decontaminate, disinfect, inspect and test instruments.
• Assemble, package, label and sterilize equipment; operate ultrasonic cleaners and sterilizers.
• Support supply inventory management and prepare case carts for surgery.
