Job summary

Qualifications

• Two years SPD experience as a certified SPD Technician.
• Experience with instrument management software (Censis, OneSource) and Microsoft Office.
• English language proficiency required for interpretation of IFU and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Manage reprocessing cycle for surgical instrumentation including disassembly, decontamination, disinfection, inspection, testing, assembly, packaging, labeling, high level disinfection, and sterilization.
• Operate ultrasonic cleaners, washers, sterilizers, and related equipment.
• Perform quality monitoring and documentation; assist with inventory and case cart preparation.
• Mentor, train, coach, and support new Sterile Processing Techs; contribute to department leadership.
• Demonstrate commitment to quality and customer service in all duties.
