Job summary

SageWest Health Care, serving Fremont County with two hospitals in Riverton and Lander, is seeking a Certified Sterile Processing Tech for a full-time, 6:30am–3:00pm shift. You will perform decontamination, inspection, assembly, packaging, and sterilization of surgical instruments to ensure sterile processing standards are met.

You will uphold regulatory guidelines, provide mentorship to new staff, participate in audits, and maintain indicators and documentation as part of quality improvement

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of accredited central sterile processing program preferred.
• CRCST or CBSPD certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Independently perform all aspects of sterile processing.
• Maintain quality assurance and sterility validation.
• Assist with department audits and documentation review.
• Train and support onboarding of new staff and students.
• Participate in quality improvement and safety initiatives.
• Maintain records of biological and chemical indicators.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and infection control standards.
