Job summary

MultiCare is hiring a Central Service Technician in Puyallup, WA for night shifts (Sunday-Thursday with rotating weekends). The role involves cleaning, sterilizing, packaging instruments, inventory maintenance and equipment transport within a hospital setting.

Requires HS diploma and CST training or certification; CRCST certification or commitment to obtain is preferred. Minimum 1 year related experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Completion of Central Service Technician course of study or healthcare organization training program.
• Nationally recognized certification (e.g., CRCST) preferred or minimum 1 year sterile processing experience.
• Central Service Certification or willingness to obtain within 1 year.
• Minimum 1 year of related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean, sterilize, and package instruments.
• Maintain inventory and transport supplies/equipment.
• Work under supervision with team focus and cooperative approach.
• Collaborate with patient care providers and Materials Management staff.
