Job summary

Qualifications

• One year of Sterile Processing experience required.
• CRCST or CBSPD certification from IAHCSMM or CBSPD required.

Responsibilities

• Decontaminates instruments in a safe, proper manner.
• Assembles instrumentation accurately and ensures sterility of processed items.
• Maintains instrument inventory and ensures timely distribution to customers.
• Assumes a leadership role within the department.
• Serves as a resource in at least 2 specialty areas.
• May perform additional duties as assigned.
