McKenzie-Willamette Medical Center is hiring a Sterile Processing Technician II to prepare and distribute supplies for patient care areas and operating rooms.

Position involves inventory control (PAR levels), counting and replenishing processed supplies, decontaminating and sterilizing reusable instruments, and storing equipment between uses. Training responsibilities may include mentoring new staff.

• CRCST certification through IAHCSM or equivalent; ability to obtain within 9 months.

Responsabilidades

• The Sterile Processing Technician II prepares and distributes supplies and equipment ready for use in all patient care areas, as well as for the Operating Rooms.
• Based on pre-determined inventory (PAR) levels, and surgical cases, these technicians count and replenish processed supplies for each location.
• Reusable instruments and items are collected, decontaminated, repackaged, sterilized and returned to storage or the next point of use.
• Patient care equipment is collected, cleaned and stored between patient applications.
• Responsible for tracking some rental equipment.
• Once oriented the SP Tech II will also assist in training newly hired technicians.

• Hourly Base Rate: $22.33 - $28.45

Job Summary:
