McKenzie-Willamette Medical Center is seeking a Sterile Processing Tech II to prepare and distribute supplies and equipment for patient care areas and operating rooms. You will count, replenish, decontaminate, repackage, sterilize, and return items based on PAR levels and surgical volume.

The role includes handling patient care equipment, tracking rental items, and assisting in training newly hired technicians once oriented.

Formación

• Certified Registered Central Services Technician (CRCST) through IAHCSM or other recognized program; certification or ability to obtain within 9 months.
• Six months experience in Healthcare Sterile Processing strongly preferred.

• Hourly Base Rate: $22.33 - $28.45

Job Summary:

• The Sterile Processing Technician II prepares and distributes supplies and equipment ready for use in all patient care areas, as well as for the Operating Rooms.
• Based on pre-determined inventory (PAR) levels, and surgical cases, these technicians count and replenish processed supplies for each location.
• Reusable instruments and items are collected, decontaminated, repackaged, sterilized and returned to storage or the next point of use.
• Patient care equipment is collected, cleaned and stored between patient applications.
• Responsible for tracking some rental equipment.
• Once oriented the SP Tech II will also assist in training newly hired technicians.

Qualifications:
