Chelsea Hospital, part of Trinity Health, seeks a CSR Central Sterile and Reprocessing Specialist to clean and reprocess critical surgical instruments for the OR, Cath Lab, and ER. You will operate washers and autoclaves, assemble instrument sets, and ensure sterilization quality across departments.
Requires a high school diploma or GED and completion of an accredited sterile reprocessing program or 6–12 months of relevant experience; certification is preferred. Equal opportunity employer.

The CSR Central Sterile and Reprocessing Specialist is responsible for cleaning all contaminated instruments and materials from Main OR, ASF, Labor and Delivery, Cath Lab, Hemodialysis and Emergency Room. This includes loading and operating the washers, assembling instrument trays and operating autoclaves, while maintaining quality standards. The CSR circulates case carts after receiving preference cards from surgical sites. The CSR also responds to requests for unexpected needs and emergency items 24 hrs a day 7 days a week.
