Dignity Health's Chandler Regional Medical Center seeks a Sterile Processing Tech to ensure sterile instrumentation is available to medical teams. You will process, sterilize, assemble trays, perform quality checks, and maintain inventory with meticulous attention to detail.

Qualificações

• Must have high school diploma or GED.
• Completion of a surgical instrument technician program or 2 years of instrument experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and adherence to sterilization procedures.

• Prepare and deliver case carts using aseptic technique.
• Decontaminate instruments and equipment including scopes and power tools.
• Assemble, package and label instrumentation for sterilization methods.
• Answer phones, fill orders, and stock supplies.
• Operates high/low temp sterilization and disinfection processes.

Job Summary And Responsibilities

As our Sterile Processing Tech at Chandler Regional Medical Center, you will be a vital link in patient care, ensuring the highest quality, sterile instrumentation is always available to medical teams.

Every day, you will meticulously process and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment, assembling trays, conducting quality checks, and maintaining inventory. You'll provide excellent service to patients, physicians, and staff, ensuring tools are safe and ready for procedures.

To be successful in this role, you will possess exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a rigorous commitment to sterilization protocols, working efficiently and expertly to support optimal outcomes.

• Prepares and delivers case carts. Utilizes aseptic technique when handling and distributing sterile instruments and supplies


• Decontaminates surgical instruments, power equipment, flexible endoscopes and other medical devices


• Ability to assemble, package and label, clinics surgical services and all other hospital instrumentation for various methods of sterilization


• Answers telephone, fills orders, issues and stocks supplies


• Utilizes various methods of high/low temp sterilization and disinfection processes
