Job summary

Chandler Regional Medical Center is seeking a Sterile Processing Tech to ensure sterile instrumentation is ready for procedures. You will process and sterilize instruments, assemble trays, conduct quality checks, and maintain inventory for surgical teams.

You will support patients, physicians, and staff with meticulous attention to detail and strict adherence to sterilization protocols, enabling safe and efficient operation of the OR and related services.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or GED required.
• Preferred completion of a surgical instrument technician program or two years of surgical instrument experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and delivers case carts; uses aseptic technique when handling and distributing sterile instruments and supplies.
• Decontaminates surgical instruments, power equipment, flexible endoscopes and other medical devices.
• Assembles, packages and labels clinics surgical services and hospital instrumentation for sterilization.
• Answers telephone, fills orders, issues and stocks supplies.
• Applies high/low temperature sterilization and disinfection processes.

As our *Sterile Processing Tech* at Chandler Regional Medical Center, you will be a vital link in patient care, ensuring the highest quality, sterile instrumentation is always available to medical teams.

Every day, you will meticulously process and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment, assembling trays, conducting quality checks, and maintaining inventory. You'll provide excellent service to patients, physicians, and staff, ensuring tools are safe and ready for procedures.

To be successful in this role, you will possess exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a rigorous commitment to sterilization protocols, working efficiently and expertly to support optimal outcomes.

• Prepares and delivers case carts. Utilizes aseptic technique when handling and distributing sterile instruments and supplies
• Decontaminates surgical instruments, power equipment, flexible endoscopes and other medical devices
• Ability to assemble, package and label, clinics surgical services and all other hospital instrumentation for various methods of sterilization
• Answers telephone, fills orders, issues and stocks supplies
• Utilizes various methods of high/low temp sterilization and disinfection processes
