Job summary

LifeNet Health seeks a Sterile Processing Supervisor to lead the weekend team in Virginia Beach, ensuring proper decontamination and sterilization processes on-site. The role calls for strong leadership, GMP/GTP adherence, and commitment to quality and patient safety.

You will supervise PSD staff, develop SOPs, handle CAPA, and monitor performance metrics while utilizing the Sterile Processing Microsystem to generate essential reports.

Qualifications

• 2 years supervisory/management experience.
• 4 years work experience.
• CRCST certification or equivalent - must be obtained within 2 years of position start date.

Responsibilities

• Oversee decontamination and sterilization while supervising PSD staff through performance appraisals and goal setting.
• Develop, update, and enforce production policies and SOPs aligned with GMP/GTP, AATB, and AAMI/ISO standards.
• Manage customer complaints, non-conformances, and internal errors by implementing corrective and preventive actions; monitor KPIs and report equipment issues.
• Utilize the Sterile Processing Microsystem (SPM) to generate reports and maintain inventory of instrumentation and supplies.
