Supervisor will supervise, prioritize, and coordinate team work flow for the shift, ensuring decontamination, cleaning, processing and sterilization of supplies and equipment. The supervisor acts as a resource, and ensures that infection control practices are followed.

Qualifications

• Accredited Sterile Processing or Surgical Technology program completion or 18 months Sterile Processing experience
• Minimum three years' CST leadership experience
• Current CRCST or CST certification

Responsibilities

• Supervise, prioritize, and coordinate team work flow for the shift.
• Ensure proper decontamination, cleaning, processing and sterilization of supplies/equipment.
• Serve as a resource and ensure infection control practices are followed.
• Coordinate, plan and assign workloads and manage scheduling and time reporting.
• Perform performance evaluations and take corrective/ disciplinary action when needed
