Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of high school graduation; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Previous management experience in a healthcare sterile processing setting is preferred.
• Certification as CRCST, CSPDT, CIS and CHL expected within two years or grandfathered.

Responsibilities

• Ensure department operations comply with CMS and TJC standards.
• Oversee budget and labor standards for the Sterile Processing unit.
• Provide comprehensive orientation and ongoing training for staff; document competency levels.
• Demonstrate leadership to develop staff skills and knowledge.
