Job summary

NorthShore University HealthSystem in Naperville, IL seeks a Supervisor, Sterile Processing to lead the SPD team and manage daily sterile processing operations for the OR and nursing units.

The role requires 3+ years in SPD with at least 1 year in a supervisory capacity, CBSPD or HSPA certification, and a commitment to obtaining endoscope reprocessing certification within 6 months. SHifts are 7:00am-3:30pm.

Qualifications

• Education and certifications as stated in the posting.
• Three years SPD experience with at least one year in a supervisory role.
• Certification CBSPD or HSPA required; Endoscope reprocessing certification within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the sterile processing function of the SPD department.
• Maintain adequate supply of sterilized products for OR and nursing units.
• Oversee and evaluate performance of all support positions.
