Veterans Health Administration in the Bay Pines VA Healthcare System is seeking a Supervisory Medical Supply Technician (Sterile Processing) in Cape Coral, FL. The role provides oversight of a team of MSTs, ensures workload distribution, and enforces SPS standards.

The position offers a pay range of $64,675 to $84,075 per year, with recruitment/relocation incentives for highly qualified candidates. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, and a comprehensive benefits package is available

Qualifications

• Experience supervising medical supply staff.
• Familiar with SPS policies and SOPs.
• Ability to conduct performance appraisals and administer personnel actions.

Responsibilities

• Provides oversight and supervision for MSTs up to GS-7; plans and directs daily work.
• Manages attendance, leave, and work schedules to meet workload changes; enforces SPS mandates.
• Conducts performance appraisals and recommends promotions or other personnel actions.
• Instructs and trains staff; provides guidance to less experienced team members.
