Job summary

KAISER in Honolulu, Hawaii seeks a Supervisor, Sterile Processing to supervise the collection, decontamination, assembly, sterilization and disinfection of instruments and equipment. You will coordinate staff to prepare surgical trays and case carts and ensure compliance with policies and regulatory requirements.

You'll train staff, monitor inventory, and perform audits to ensure compliance with regulations, guiding corrective actions as needed to maintain safe, available instrument sets.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience required, with or without direct reports.
• Minimum two years in sterile processing and/or handling reusable medical equipment.
• Bachelor’s degree plus relevant experience OR six years related work in sterile processing or health care operations.
• Certification as Central Service Technician or Sterile Processing Distribution Technician is required at hire.
