Job summary

LifeNet Health is seeking a Supervisor, Sterile Processing in Virginia Beach. The role leads the Production Support Department, ensuring compliance with FDA GTP/GMP, AAMI/ISO and AATB standards, while supervising staff and maintaining equipment and SOPs.

The position emphasizes shift leadership, safety adherence, and timely completion of tasks, with a focus on continuous improvement and quality control across all PSD activities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; CRST certification within 2 years of start.
• Two years supervisory/management experience required.
• Four years of work experience required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide effective decontamination and equipment sterilization.
• Supervise PSD staff through appraisals, goal setting, and training.
• Create and enforce production policies aligned with GMP/GTP, AATB, ISO standards.
• Ensure sterilization quality control release documentation is complete.
• Address customer complaints and implement corrective actions.
• Report PSD equipment malfunctions and drive corrective actions.
• Monitor PSD KPIs and support department goals.
• Maintain Sterile Processing Microsystems (SPM) familiarity and reports.
• Maintain inventory of surgical instrumentations and supplies.
