Job summary

Qualifications

• CRCST certification is required.
• 15+ months of Sterile Processing Technician experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize and coordinate day-to-day SPC operations.
• Serve as primary contact for Operating Room questions.
• Ensure compliance with TJC and State Board regulations.
• Supervise daily activities of SPC staff.
• Oversee instrument sterilization, assembly and distribution.
• Maintain regulatory, accreditation, and infection prevention standards.
• Monitor workflow and pursue process improvements.
• Coordinate repairs, inventory, and supply management.
• Provide leadership, scheduling, training and recruitment support.
• Collaborate with OR, Nursing, Infection Prevention, Engineering and others.
• Maintain sterilization records and quality metrics.
