Qualified candidates hold CRCST or CSPDT credentials and can demonstrate meticulous attention to detail and strong interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Credentialed: passed a nationally accredited central service exam and holds CRCST or CSPDT credential.
• Grand-fathering Clause: evidence of Central Service Technician employment for one year between 1/1/2011 - 1/1/2015.
• Strong attention to detail with interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Processing: supply sterile goods and equipment to all hospital areas including decontamination, cleaning, packing, sterilizing, storing and distribution.
• Sterilization: ensure appropriate supplies are used; collect and clean soiled equipment, machines, carts and shelves.
• Distribution: transport needed supplies, medication and equipment throughout the hospital.
